well i think its genetics. see, my parents both have darker complexions and dark hair. but i'm a red head with fair skin! my older brother has naturally tan skin too. i was told my great grandparents on both sides were fair skinned with red hair. so i guess genetics sometimes just skip a few generations and show up later!

I have curly hair I havent tryed that product specifly but Ive tryed other garnier products and they dont really stay in your hair for so long they smell good but if your hair in curly thick try Treseme mouse its a but pricy but worth it they have a variety of products.

My hair is the same way... I use Catwalk curls rock shampoo and conditioner. It works great. To make sure I dont loose my curls I dont brush it. I shampoo condition then towel dry and I add the catwalk leave in conditioner to protect my hair the finish it off by crunching some catwalk curl amplifier and just let it air dry. Frizz is no longer a preoblem and it only takes like 2 minutes to have great hair! I tried redken curls and i didnt get as much definition as i do with catwalk. I also tried ABBA and it also dosnt give me definition and there is some frizz... but, abba has this curl reactor and it works well. you just need a few sprits and your ready! good luck

I had a perm once and I tried a bunch of stuff - even frizz ease. Redken worked the best.

I'm doing the opposite...trying to convince my curly hair to stay that way. But I did find that John Frieda stuff actually DOES what it's supposed to. Plus, it's like $3 at Walmart. If I were you, I'd probably invest $3 and give whatever John Frieda stuff there is for straightening hair. I bet it would work.

frizz ease serum. a round brush. a hair dryer. and then either a large curling iron or a flat iron to smooth it out. this works for me. the two step....drying it with a brush and then smoothing it with the iron does work.

you can't let it dry curly and then expect to get all the curl out with an iron.

i take and pull the top portion of my WET hair back and then i can brush down to dry the bottom. then with another scrunchy i pull that back. flip my head over and undo the top part and dry that upside down for body.

Get a hair straightener from the store, and some straightening balm. I really like the stuff from Aveda, it's called hang straight. I wash my hair, apply that stuff and then in the morning I'll apply a little more and then straighten it with a hair straightener. It stays straight for about a week without having to wash it. I naturally have thick curly hair.
