I want my hair short but its curly.... will it look right??

i have naturally curly hair and i wanted to get it cut sort like chin length in the front and have it faded up in the back so i can just run some gel through it in the mornings(spikey like??) and i don't know if it will looke right... i have a good hair straightner but i just don't know... What do you all think??

As long as you have layers, it will look great. The only thing you shouldn't do with curly hair is to get a bob. This will just be too bushy at the ends and not enough height on top, but If you get layers, it will soften the curls and look much more flattering.

how curly is your hair? if it's very curly, than i think you better don't. if it's not too bad, than i suggest you try it. anayway, if anything goes wrong you still have you hair straightner! (:

If it's curly, the biggest concern you have is length because curly hair always looks shorter than it actually is because it "curls up." So if you cut it to your chin, then it's going to look shorter, which might make spiking easy. If you still want to show some length, then you need to keep it longer than chin level. If you like spiky though, then it should look fine.

Curls become very much shorter and tighter when they're short. It's kind of hard to predict. If you straighten your hair every day it will become really dry. If I were you I'd go to a hairstylist who specializes in curly hair, or ethnic hair. They will know how to work with your hair.
