I have curly hair and I love it, but I want more of a punk edge?

I love my curly hair, and over the years have come to embrace it rather than fight it. Although, I would like something edgy and more me.

I can't straighten it, (nor do i want to) because of the length which is past my shoulders and of the time it takes, which is usually two hours

If you want to go more punk edge then your best bet would be to trim your hair to like shoulder length or shorther and straighten it every few days.. also get a razor cut... if you dont want to cut or straighten then i cant really help you...curly hair isnt really punk edge

I would suggest coloring your hair. It doesn't have to be blue or pink, just the way you color it gives it an edge, maybe big chunks in random places. Also, try pinning up your hair, and see what you get. Just experiment with different styles and you'll find one you like.

Ugh i know exactly what you mean! Theres not really much i can suggest. Curly hair just is not punk!

You could try some wash in/out colours, see if they are for you and get it done permanently if you decide on one you like? Even like pink or green etc. Or you could get coloured extensions that you can put in and take out whenever you want to.
