Any good shampoo for curly hair?

i have really curly hair, and i need shampoo to make it into perfect ringlets, as opposed to just balls of frizz. help!

I use Tresemme Vitamin E Moisturising Shampoo and Conditioner, then follow it up with a smallish amount of Tresemme Mousse (the strongest one). I then give my hair a good squirt with Pantene Gel Spray (the one in a white bottle with pink top and writing, for curly hair - I think it is called Perfect Curves or Perfect Curls). I then blow dry it using a gentle heat and a diffuser attachment. When it is completely dry (else it flops) I give it a bloody good squirt of Tresemme Freeze Hold Hairspray and then give it a little scrunch.

I kind of go by the theory of why use one product when you can use several! Works on my ridiculouly thick hair though!

I have found that the shampoo doesn't matter as much as what I put in it after. If I don't use a styling cream for curly hair, it gets frizzy. I use Be Curly by Aveda.

The shampoo is not as important as your styling products.

Don't get me wrong you need a good moisturizing shampoo and conditioner: Goldwell Kerasilk, Senscience Moisturizing and Kms moisturizing are all great for curly hair. You need a really good liquid gel. I really like Paul Mitchell Super Sculpt, its not real thick and can be spread easily through out your hair. The key is to apply it to towel dried hair and COMB it through thoroughly. Comb it through before it dries you want every piece of hair to have product on it, scrunch your hair and let it air dry. Once its dry shake it out and it should look great. The reason your hair looks frizzy is because the hair that doesn't have product on it has nothing to control it and it does its own thing. Also try not to play with it once its dry as this will loosen the curl and could cause frizz. Hope this helps!! Let me know.

Do not listen to these people. Shampoo is extremely important. Have you ever used a shampoo that dried, ruined or tangled your hair??? I have. Shampoo and conditioner are the foundation of your hair care. Curly hair is the most delicate of all %26amp; you can ruin it by using a harsh drying shampoo and brushing your curls which creates puffy curls from pulling on your hair.

I have used everything %26amp; the only thing I have found to work is Ouidad.( her site is www.ouidad.com). My hair has never looked or felt better, frizz is gone and my curls are healthy, which is what's really important. When I come out of the shower, my curls always spring up and the curls have a better shape.
