How to tame down curly hair?

Ive got medium short ,thick ,dry and curly hair.so how can you tame it down, because its always "poofy-like" and such a hassle to handle. whats an easy home method of taming it?

Do NOT brush your hair. Curly hair should never ever be brushed.

To "tame" it without straigtening it make sure you have a good quality shampoo and conditiner that is made specifically FOR curly hair.

Next, you should probably use a leave in conditioner too, curly hair is more prone to damage than striaght hair.

Try using a mousse and gently scrunching and twisting peices of your hair, and blowdry it with a diffuser (don't use a brush, just your fingers) or, let it air dry. If you blowdry it, you can also use a tiny bit of shine serum to make your curls look shiny and healthy.

Also, certain hairstyles are bad for curls. Nex time you got a salon, ask for something that looks good in curls, or straight.

The easiest choice would be to go buy a straightener. Then some Anti-frizz shampoo. Plus theres some stuff you can get that when you straighen it it stays straight. You can get it at the supermarket.

If I were to have medium short, thick, dry and curly hair I would tame it down by using a smoothing serum. biolage has a good products. I would also check into some biolage hydrating deep conditioners. Good luck!
